Jean H Regan
Prior to joining Tranzact, Ms. Regan was a staff accountant, then Senior Manager at KPMG, a big five public accounting firm. She was selected for participation in a prestigious internal control review team, which reviewed work in other KPMG offices. She was promoted to Group Administrator, where she scheduled 80 professionals in audit engagements during her two years in this position. Jean left KMPG after 9 years and joined a privately held lumber and hardware operation. As Executive Vice-President, she oversaw the operations, finances and accounting. Ms. Regan has a BS in Accounting with high honors from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and a Masters of Management Degree with a Minor in Finance from Northwestern University. She is actively involved in Vistage (formerly known as TEC, The Executives Committee), the AICPA, the Illinois CPA Society, is a Member of the Board of Directors for Sentry Insurance, a Member of the Board of Directors for L3 and is a Committee Chairperson on the Marketing Committee for the Solheim Cup in 2009 at Rich Harvest Farms, Sugar Grove, IL. |
Michael A Regan
Mr. Regan is extremely active and well known within the logistics industry. He serves as Chairman of the American Society of Transportation & Logistics and on the Boards of numerous industry groups such as the National Industrial Transportation League, where he is the Chairman of the Education Committee the National Association of Small Shippers, where he is the Chairman of the Advocacy Committee, and the Transportation Intermediaries Association, where he his Chairman of the TIA Foundation. He is also very active in several key industry organizations, such as the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. Mr. Regan is also the Chairman of the board for Supply Chain Edge. Mr. Regan is very active within other professional organizations as well. He is a graduate of YPO and was a past Chairman of the Chicago Chapter. He is a current member of CEO and WPO. He also served on the YPO East Central Region Board of Directors and has served on the International Board of Directors. In 1995, Mr. Regan was inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame and was recognized as a Finalist in the Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of The Year Contest. In 2002, he was named Delta Nu Alpha’s Transportation Professional of the Year. In 2003, he was named as one of the 100 Irish American Executives in Irish America Magazine’s “Business 100.” In 2005, he was named by DC Velocity as one of the “Rainmakers” who has a demonstrated track record of achievement that has distinguished him from the crowd in the Logistics field. Also in 2005 he was named “Executive of the Year” by the National Industrial Transportation League (NIT League). Mr. Regan has been a featured columnist in industry periodicals including Traffic World, has published several articles, has been quoted in industry periodicals such as Logistics Management and DC Velocity, and has spoken throughout the country. He actively represents TranzAct within the industry and keeps abreast of key developments in the areas of logistics, distribution and supply chain management. Prior to starting TranzAct, Mr. Regan worked for the Bank of America, PriceWaterhouse, and the Union Pacific Corporation. Mr. Regan is a CPA and has a BSBA from the University of Illinois. |
